(2) Allows local governments to regulate these activities
(3) Permits local governments to impose and collect marijuana-related fees and taxes
(4) Authorizes various criminal and civil penalties.

"Ayudemonos Nosotros Mismos"
A popular education and grassroots fundraising campaign to support the resistance movement in Arizona, litigation against
SB 1070, immigration reform proposals (Dream Act, Ag Jobs and CIR ASAP), and Latino voter mobilization
By joining us you will be in a street intersection with 5-6 trained staff and volunteers wearing “Immigrant Pride” hats & t-shirts on selected days from August 30th - September 3rd during designated hours. You will be passing out educational flyers and collecting donations.
Funds collected will be used for litigation, civic protest, advocacy and voter accountability activities
(MALDEF, NDLON, NALACC, WCVI, and SVREP).

Actualmente la comunidad Latina necesitamos tener una voz enérgica en los asuntos que más nos afectan en nuestra vida. Los Latinos tenemos demasiado en juego, ahora más que nunca, por lo que revela la actual y proyectada demografía de nuestra población. Por ello la Liga de Votantes Latinos (LVL) quiere asegurarse que los Latinos no sólo estemos “en la mesa”, sino que también reconfiguremos y controlemos las discusiones sobre nuestro futuro, a nivel local, estatal y nacional.
