California Latino Leaders Endorse Prop. 19  Legalizing Recreational Use of Cannabis Will End Discrimination Against Latinos and Blacks, Diminish Gangs and Cartels.

(Los Angeles, February 26, 2010) – Los Angeles based Latino Voters League officially launched a signature gathering campaign today for the "California State Parks and Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund Act of 2010". This statewide ballot measure will create a stable and reliable funding source to protect state parks, conserve wildlife and increase public access to the 278 parks spread across 1.4 million acres. In the past two years these parks were twice on the brink of being shut down because of California’s budget cuts.
